And if you really want to impress your date, plan a dinner at Le Chalet Robinson, just a ferry ride away in the centre island of the park.

Adventure for two

Are you and your Valentine more of the adventurous type? No worries, even now there’s romantic dates for you too. Hike or wander to new heights as a couple with these two date ideas. And don’t worry, we’re sure that if you fall, your Valentine will catch you!

Hike it up - Limburg

Achieve new #couplegoals heights by hiking to the very top of Connecterra. Start off your Valentine’s Day right by watching the sunrise together and enjoying the amazing views. If you’re there for the cute memories, pick an easy going hike. Have a picnic as the sun comes up, then send the rest of the day having a cosy indoors date back home.

Dive head first into love - Brussels

At NEMO 33, visitors can dive into their pools and feel as if they are diving in the ocean.

How deep is your love? Is it like the ocean? Or at least one of the deepest diving pools in the world? Find out at Nemo 33: Brussels’ indoor scuba diving centre! If you’re an adventurous couple looking for the next thrill, this is the perfect date spot for you. Dive down up to 35 meters below the surface, check out the cave areas, or just swim in circles and imagine you’re a mermaid - we won’t judge, we’d do the same. After exploring life underwater, you’ll be thinking your date was in the tropics rather than Belgium!

Get your hearts racing - with an axe! - Brussels

Two friends measure where exactly their axes landed at the Woodcutter Axe Throwing in Brussels.

So it may not be your typical candle-lit dinner, but for those competitive couples out there this is the place for you! Woodcutter Urban Axe Throwing is definitely a unique date experience. Probably because there’s a dangerous adrenaline rush that comes with it - but don’t worry, it’s way more safe than it sounds! You’ll get an hour to have a mini-axe throwing tournament, seeing who can hit the target the best. Is this a metaphor for love? Plus while you’re here, you’ll get some snacks and local beers to try out. Dinner and a movie is officially out, and hacking an axe with your date is in! Who knew a date could be so painfully fun?

Are you the next Morticca and Gomez Addams? Then this museum is for you. This may seem a little unconventional for a date, but that’s exactly why we’re here for it. The Torture Museum of Oude Steen will be your most unique date spot in all of Bruges. This takes thinking outside the box to a whole new level - and throwing in some execution devices! This one is for our horror movie lovers, adventurous couples, or for those who just really want to learn something new. The Torture Museum has over 100 devices on display, located in one of the oldest buildings in all of Bruges. We don’t want to give too much away, but switch up the typical date night to something a bit darker. Besides, it’s the perfect opportunity to hold your date tight! Keep the spooky vibes going by visiting the Retsins Lucifernum bar, and see if you can spot any ghosts!
