Nowadays, finding the right person seems to be getting harder and harder, so when there is that special someone to go on a first date with, finding the right place can be quite nerve-racking. However, you have nothing to worry about! London is a city with endless choices and it offers many romantic spots for every budget and taste. I have picked(not that I go on a lot of dates) 5 lovely and different first date spots for you so that you can stop stressing and enjoy a great date!
If you are looking to wine and dine with an amazing view Coppa Club, Tower Bridge will be the perfect place for your first date. The restaurant/bar is open from early morning until late at night, so you can try their brunch or go for a candlelit dinner. Both the inner and the outside seating area is beautiful. Inside you can enjoy the fireplace while outside you can chill in your own copper igloo while looking over the River Thames and the Tower Bridge. Make sure to call in for a reservation and you can check their menu online for a better idea.
**The Churchill **is one of the best hotel bars in London both during winter and summer. The outside sitting area is decorated with white branches, fairy lights, furry seat covers and warm blankets. There are electric heaters outside and their selection of sharing platter and fondues will make your night even more romantic. I must say it is on the pricey side and sometimes it can be a little hard to make reservations, so make sure to call early.
Sometimes keeping things simple and old-fashioned is to key to a romantic evening and this is what ArtHouse offers to you. This independent cinema with a lovely bar at the entrance is the perfect place to get to know someone and enjoy a good film together. You can check the viewing time and the films from their website and no reservations needed for the bar.
You cannot actually get to know someone until you see them playing ping pong! I am not sure if it is a saying but it will sure make your night so much better, I mean what is more romantic than enjoying a game night with lots of laughter. Bounce is the ultimate location for ping pong and it only takes two to turn the night into a party in here. They have walk-in tables available and if you want to have a double or triple first date you can always call for reservations.
No one said that a first date should be in the evening! A morning walk at one of the most famous flower markets in London can make a great date, I mean flowers are super romantic anyway. You can buy fresh flowers for your home while enjoying a lovely conversation. There are also many shops and cafes around to stop and have food or a drink.
