Party in Salento; Nightclubs not to be missed

During the colder months of the year, it can be hard to find places to party in Apulia. While there are many cocktail bars and a few smaller clubs, the nightlife scene seems to be in a "winter sleep." Everything closes at around 3 am, and the vibes are more of a " relaxing get-together" style than a party night. A completely different picture emerges though when the temperatures start to rise, and the Salento peninsula turns into an Italian version of Ibiza. From May until September, countless beach bars, night clubs, and open-air discotheques open their doors to "party hungry" guests and international DJ-Lineups. 

Praja - Gallipoli

One of the best places to spend a night out is Praja in Gallipoli. It is located at the beautiful beach section of Baia Verde, and it is probably the most famous night club of the Salento peninsula. The night club has a giant dance floor, a party area, and multiple private VIP sections. The popularity of Praja is also because of the fantastic DJ-Lineup they have every year. International stars, such as Bob Sinclar and Dj Antoine will visit Praja in summer 2019 and guarantee unforgettable party nights. 

Isola Beach – Porto Cesareo

Another popular destination for night owls is Isola Beach. It is located on a small Island and it's only accessible from a bridge. Isola Beach offers spectacular sea views, excellent cocktails, great music, and has even a pool on the dance floor. It is the perfect place to dance the night away while soaking up the holiday atmosphere. 

Blubay - Castro

Tropical night club vibes and vacation flair are guaranteed at Blubay. It is located in Castro and has two main dance floors in a paradisiac setting with a huge pool and palm trees. The club regularly hosts international DJs and fun events, as well as pool parties.

Riobo - Gallipoli

The area of Gallipoli is the center of the summer nightlife scene in Salento. Next to Praja Riobo, there is another must-visit club for party enthusiasts. A few years ago, it was named the most beautiful disco throughout Italy. The club spreads on multiple levels in a modern and elegant environment with a pool, and green olive and palm trees surround it.
