The famous Reeperbahn and the nightlife in Hamburg!

During the day, St Pauli district is quite cool but after midnight, this is a whole different story! Here, you can find lots of old sailors’ pubs and modern discos surrounded by erotic bars and sex shops. If you walk along, you will end up in the world-famous Reeperbahn! Along the Elbe river, Reeperbahn was always a hot spot for entertainment. Once, this historic ropemakers’ district was a popular destination for seamen, who were looking for a fun night. In the 1960s, the red light district turned into something super cool, and hosted legends, such as The Beatles, The Jets, and Rory Storm and The Hurricanes! If you walk further from the Reeperbahn, you will end up in an entirely different atmosphere at the Sternschanze. Here, you can enjoy the alternative vibes. For trendy cafés and cocktail bars, you can check out the multicultural Karoviertel. Under the Sternbrücke bridge, you’ll also find the most famous underground clubs like the Fundbureau, the Astra Stube, and the Waagenbau.
