Now, I know that finding affordable accommodation in Rome can be a daunting task - after all, there are just so many options and high-end hotels are dotted in between every corner of the city. But fear not! After my backpacking days, friends weekend and plenty of on a shoestring-budget trips to Rome, I have you covered with these top picks for cheap and cheerful stays that won't break your bank!

From trendy hostels to cosy apartments, my friends and I have scoured the streets of Rome to bring you the best budget-friendly options that won't compromise on comfort or convenience. Most people arrive to Rome either by the airport or by train at the Termini Station. Now, if you have tons of luggage and don’t want to carry that throughout the Eternal City in search of your place to say, Alessandro Palace & Bar makes that super convenient. All you have to do is exit the train station and simply walk five minutes to check-in! Viola, bags dropped off, and then you’re ready to explore any part of the city since Rome’s mass public transportation is all within reach too. This adds such an ultimate comfort since you don’t have to worry about climbing up or down any bunk, and no noise will get in the way of a good night’s rest.
