The Lulworth Estate, purchased by Humphrey Weld in 1641, comprises 12,000 acres of rolling parkland, farmland, woods and World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, which includes the famous striking natural landforms of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, with Lulworth Castle sitting at the heart of the Estate. Lulworth is rich in natural heritage with an abundance of flora and fauna with some of the most famous landforms on the Jurassic Coast and a number of Sites of Special Scientific Interest hosting many rare species, including the Lulworth Skipper butterfly, making it a mecca for geologists and naturalists from around the World.

The Estate holds a magnificent mixture of history and nature and aims to maintain the best of traditional rural practices, whilst embracing new opportunities presented by agriculture, tourism, education and conservation.
