We offer Bed and Breakfast Accommodation to a high standard and are in an ideal location for a wide range of Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire destinations and attractions. We are ideally placed for visitors to a variety of venues in the surrounding areas including Newmarket Races, Newmarket Evenings and Thetford Forest Concerts.

Sat by the River Lark, Lord Mayors Cottage enjoys wonderful riverside views. Offering peace and tranquillity, it's perfect for fishing (the River Lark is well known for Chubb) chilling with a good book, bird watching and we are also perfectly positioned if you enjoy Military Aircraft spotting (either from the garden or at the viewing points at Mildenhall and Lakenheath). The gardens enjoy daily visits from numerous birds - so far we've listed Blue Tits, Great Tits, Coal Tits, Robins, Kingfisher, Gold Crest and Nuthatch to name but a few.

If you are looking for a base for a week’s holiday, a weekend away in the country, or just an overnight business trip, we can cater to your needs.

A meeting room is also available to hire which can cater for up to 6 people. Daily rate includes tea, coffee, water and biscuits. A sandwich lunch can also be provided for a small fee. Please email for further information.
