An environmentally friendly 44 acre rare breeds farm in Aylesbury Vale for all ages. Located in beautiful open countryside where there will be plenty of space for children to play and explore outdoors and indoors.
There's fresh homemade food in the Eco Cafe that's supplied by local producers and from our own walled garden, where we grow heritage fruit and vegetables. The cafe is on the ground floor of our lovely timberframed building, whilst on the first floor with stunning views is our purpose built conference/party room available for hire.
As well as special seasonal events, the animal barn and pet corner will have a daily programme which children will love! They’ll also have the chance to let off steam inside the 2 indoor play barns, or outside where there is plenty of play equipment, a nature trail and wildlife pond.
With the facilities that we will have to offer, workshops and talks are planned for a wide range of activities - fruit and vegetable growing, cookery, art, eco-living, animal care - to name a few!
Setting up a rare breeds farm and eco centre has been 35 years in the planning and is a dream coming true for owner, Ray Marzec. Ray is passionate about sustainable living and conservation, so the farm will be run along these lines when it opens in Summer 2014.
