Formed at a meeting on 7th June 1872 by twelve men, the Bon Accord is recognised as the second oldest golf club in Aberdeen. Situated on Golf Road and next to the home ground of Aberdeen Football Club, the Bon Accord settled on the current location in early 20th century with the opening ceremony taken place on 10th April 1901.
The clubs members play their golf on the manicipal Kings Links Golf Course. It measures 6270 yards from the medal tees, has a par of 71 and the SSS is 69. All standards of golfers will find the Kings Links a testing challenge with the high winds and spiny gorse frequently coming into play.
