For new riders, the Riding School provides an appropriate riding hat free of charge. After six lessons, it is recommended that clients purchase their own helmet, compliant with current B.H.S. standards.

Weight Limit and Booking Policies

Starting from July 1st, 2021, Andover Riding School has implemented a strict weight limit of 12 stone (168 pounds) for riders. This regulation is in line with current welfare regulations for the horses. Ad hoc weigh-ins may be conducted to ensure compliance with this limit.

When booking a lesson, it is important to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to complete the necessary assessment form. Additionally, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for any changes or cancellations. Failure to provide the appropriate notice may result in charges equivalent to the full lesson cost.
