The O'Reilly Theatre is one of Oxford's newest student theatres, opened in October 2002. Located in the grounds of Keble College, it is a 181 capacity theatre whose versatile staging and technical possibilities make it a popular venue for some of the best student drama around. Every term five plays (four in Hilary) are selected to perform, and in the past productions have ranged from musicals to gritty reality dramas.

The O'Reilly has been excellently technically equipped with options for video projection as well as extensive lighting and sound equipment available to productions. Seating can be rearranged to allow for plays in the round, thrust staging and traverse. There are two balconies, one of which can be used to host orchestras or bands. For more information on the technical side of the O'Reilly theatre, email Stephen Poole at [email protected].

We aim to offer a high quality and diverse season each term and wish to encourage any applications for hiring the theatre space in the future. More information can be found here.
