Dar Cherait Museum

The Dar Cherait Museum is the largest private museum in Tunisia. The museum was created to honor both the town it is located in, Tozeur, and the Sahara desert. It has a collection of art which dates between the 17th-20th centuries and comes from Tunisia, Turkey and Syria, among other areas which the Ottoman Empire once covered.
