Headquarters of a world power:

The Doppelburg, founded around 1030, is the headquarters of the Habsburgs. From here, the Habsburgs once set out and created a world empire. Today, Habsburg Castle houses a small exhibition on the history of the building and its settlement, as well as a restaurant.

The exhibition provides insights into the everyday life of the castle, nutrition, water supply and living. Explore the castle and ruin and enjoy the fascinating panoramic view of the landscape!

Opening 2013: Schloss Habsburg is open from 1 October to 31 October 2013, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00. The castle and the exhibition can be visited freely.

The entrance to the castle is free.
