From Wednesday 28 September 2011, we aim to offer the Lausanne population regular weekly cultural appointment. Photography exhibitions, painting, theater, meetings-concerts are scheduled.

Who are we ? The project was born of two architects and a talent agent. A natural complementarity has enabled members to complete this common desire to broadcast quality artists in a unique place in the heart of the city. The space, a former warehouse at Flon, remember what, there's still a few years, this area of the city: a zone Joint activity. Indeed, the immense development of the area has given priority to administrative or commercial areas, leaving aside the craft, social and cultural events that have shaped the spirit and history of the Flon district. The fringe of small buildings bordering the hill of the Côtes-de-Montbenon is somehow the memory of these activities, recalling diversity of the place. By their small scale, these constructions naturally open onto the street, leaving people to see their work. For us, this configuration is the basis of the vibrant and diverse neighborhood identity through the seasons. Jeanne Della Casa, Sylvie Pfaehler and Adrien Urban Stories Romedenne up the association that was created to structure the implementation of the project.

What are our goals ?

  • Allow people of Lausanne to discover or rediscover historical places of their city made entirely of concrete frame, this construction is a kind of "urban barn"
  • To contribute to the cultural development of the city of Lausanne
  • Create a place for meetings and artistic discoveries

What type of programming?

  • Concerts-intimate encounters with the first part, local groups
  • Theatre performance
  • Exhibitions of photographs, painting
  • Conferences on city architecture

What funding? The entrance will pay for the shows because we will not have a source of funding for the first year. The building belongs to the city of Lausanne, partner in the project. All investments are the responsibility of the association (renovation, equipment, operations).
