As modern as its society is, Sweden is a country full of seemingly untouched nature and ever-present history. First stop for many visitors is historic and compact Stockholm, full of heritage, home to the Vasa Museum and gateway to the Stockholm Archipelago.  Yet, you haven't seen Sweden until you've admired its natural side. Its wide natural landscapes offer a multitude of splendid vistas and sights, from dense forests to crystal clear lakes, waterfalls and rolling mountains. The stunning but rugged wilderness of Sarek National Park, called “Europe's last wilderness” by some, is a challenging but highly rewarding area to explore. It was the first of a list of 29 established national parks and is part of the vast and Unesco protected terrains of Laponia, together with the national parks Padjelanta, Stora Sjöfallet and the taiga and ravines of Muddus National Park. Set out to spot elk, wolverines and more Swedish wildlife or visit in winter for a chance to see the magical Northern Lights. Kosterhavet maritime park is the place to go for lobster or seal safaris.

Sweden

The rivers of Lagan, Ätran, Nissan and Viskan flow through the province and reach the sea in Kattegat. Halland is well known for its fertile soil and as an agricultural district. Most of the region is made up of a relief unit known as the Sub-Mesozoic hilly peneplain. Around Morup and Tvååker hilltops are remnants of the Sub-Cambrian peneplain, an ancient erosion surface that covers much of eastern Sweden. At the landscape level, you cross Swedish countryside with its fields of corn and its red farms which coast the blue sea. The beach of Apelviken, next to Vareberg, is a huge beach of sublime sand. You also discover in this region, the nature reserve of Kuallaberg, which is a haven of greenery at the edge of the sea. You can walk in the forest and also swim between the rocks.

Halland

Kungsbacka Golf Club was formed in 1970 and the first holes were played in 1974. The course consisted of 13 holes, today's holes 1-6 and 12-18. The remaining five holes were completed in 1977 and the 18-hole course is today called "Gamla Banan". Banking ranges from lush forest and park to windy seaside.

"New Banana" is a tough 9-hole full-length course with a lot of forest and water that became playable in 1992. It became a perfect complement to the Old Banana.

"Korthålsbanan" is a 9-hole "pay and play" course with very nice green areas. It was completed in 2003 after having consisted of 5-holes.

A driving range with carpets / grass and target greener. Studio and carpeted roofs.
Three exercise greenhouses, one in front of the clubhouse (only for members and greenfeegsters), a wide parking lot and a wide driving range
Several chip and recording areas
