In 1992, Allerum Golf Club was formed. The Ängsbanan was built in 1993 - 1995, designed by Hans Fock 2001 was established in connection with the Parkbanan - a 9-hole Pay & Playbana - designed by Pelle Weimenhög.
At the facility there is a well-functioning chancellor and reception, club and conference rooms, dressing room, restaurant, shop, driving range, playgrounds and access to coaches.
Ängsbanan is an open parkway where the wind cools a hot summer day and demands a fun day. With a varied layout and well-maintained holes, the track invites players to play more than at one time.
This is how Göran Zachrisson describes the Ängsbanan: "Hans Fock's vision is that everything in nature will be treated with taste, and after impulses from a visit to the United States, he made sure to build five meters of high hills separating many of the holes in Allerum. The feeling that we are playing We find ourselves in different valleys, and a golf course that might otherwise have felt desolate has now been given illusions about intimacy. Ideally, Hans Fock had to build twice as high hills as in the United States, but the fat clay soil on the plain of Skåne does not matter Anyway, however, there are parties at Allerum that are naturally hilly and they have been taken care of. For me, games at Allerum are mostly a deal with the sky, who now stands there up and on every occasion I feel extremely small. It may also be the innest meaning of the game. Our players always seem to wear the shortest straw. " (Golf Digest No. 8, 2000)
Parkbanan is one of Sweden's best Pay & Playbanor. With par 36 and full length, it's a great course, great for beginners, but also a challenge for golfers with a few years on the neck.
