The necessary and unstoppable evolution of the profession of knife to hold on to the new times and to avoid the definitive disappearance, leaves in the way a patrimony that is necessary to recover and to separate from the abandonment and the forgetfulness.

Located 1 km from the center of Taramundi, the museum complex includes the whole village of Pardiñas, linked for centuries with the crafts of iron. In the Museum, we can enjoy audiovisual, manipulate different tools and machines used in the manufacturing process of a knife, discover through a videomaqueta the geography of the council, know the way of life and customs, and even the house of the navalleiro.

The museum is completed with two rooms where one of the most important Taramundi knives and knives collections in Spain is shown.

In the outer space you can visit the giant razor, the hydraulic ingenuity and a "winery" or traditional forge in which live demonstrations are carried out.

As a novelty, a new visitable workshop has been built in which, through a glazed gallery, one can observe the current work in the manufacture of knives and knives under the CQ Taramundi brand.
