Don Agustín María de Mendoza and Montero de Espinosa, VI Count of the Berrona Court, was born in Zafra in March 1895.
It was in 1919 when Don Agustín, following the advice of his friend Macial Lalanda, made the decision to become a wild cattle rancher when he bought the cattle ranch of the Marquesa Viuda de Tamarón, at which time the cattle ranch of the Conde de la Corte, descendant of the prestigious and influential cattle ranch of Vistahermosa, with the eagerness to delve into the three main characteristics of the brave bull, imposed by inheritance: showiness, bravery and nobility.
In 1940, the Palace House of the Count of the Court became the habitual residence of Don Agustín, soon becoming this space in the center of meeting, discussion and promotion of the world of the brave bull in the middle of the 20th century and from where, thanks to this excellent work, they drank what are today some of the most prestigious irons, such as those of Atanasio Fernández or Juan Pedro Domecq.
Maintaining this spirit of the farmer has rehabilitated this magnificent space, which supports and promotes the bullfighting world of the area and is a perfect corner for rest, reunion and rest. We have moved to the present a space with history, with past and future, with the intention of providing an affable place, as open as exclusive: the perfect meeting point between our wishes and theirs
