Catedral de Ourense

Ourense Cathedral is part of the living history of the city and of the whole Diocese, appointing the first bishops from the sixth century.

Considered one of the great Romanesque churches in Spain, its secluded beauty, understated elegance and light balanced surprise visitors and the faithful who enter the temple.

Dedicated to San Martin de Tours, it is the main monument of the Galician populous inland city, occupying the center of the old town where it is easily recognizable by its unique octagonal dome tardogótico elevation.
