The region is unfortunately also well known for its conflicts and demands for independence. Today, the area has achieved a relative political stability, within the framework of an autonomous region. An important change, that now allows the Basque people to freely express their identity and culture.

The txoko-workshop can be rented separately to celebrate any event, from birthdays, special celebrations, work meetings, team building, etc. All rooms and the txoko have direct access to the garden and also the house is located in the middle of nature and very close to tourist attractions such as San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Bermeo, Urdaibai, Castillo de Butrón, ... and only 10 minutes from Bakio beach, 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Bilbao.
