Spain is famous for its friendly inhabitants, relaxed lifestyle, its cuisine, vibrant nightlife, and world-famous folklore and festivities, and its history as the core of the vast Spanish Empire. Nature is not everything though: the Canaries as a Spanish territory are a legacy of the former Spanish Empire. You will realize this when walking across the streets of the small towns, entering its churches and embracing the atmosphere of festivals.
