This beach along the river has to be one of the most amazing places in Slovenia. The bright blue waters are surrounded by beautiful views of forest and mountains, and it is a tranquil place to take a swim. We recommend visiting during a hot summer day, as the waters are known to be cold and refreshing.
Occasionally, there are music festivals that happen at Sotočje Tolminke Natural Beach! This is a cool experience, because how often do you get to go to a music festival completely surrounded by nature?
That being said, during this time the beach will be a lot more crowded compared to festival-free times. If you prefer a more relaxing visit, it’s best to avoid it during the festival.

- The easiest way to get there from the majority of Slovenia is by renting a car, as it is not easily accessible from public transport. If you are staying in Soča Valley, there may be some buses that stop in Tolmin from your location.
