This memorial park was designed by Slovenia’s most iconic architect, Jože Plečnik, whose grave you can visit at this park to this day. Many of the most famous Slovenian historical figures are buried at this memorial park, and the landscaping is beautiful, making it a wonderful place to stroll around and appreciate the lives of those that have passed.

The park is an important monument in the city, as it appreciates the people who made an impact culturally and historically on the city. The main white building with a repeating pattern of arches is the most stand-out feature of the memorial park.
