At the top of Ojstrica summit, a hill near Bled, you’ll run into the Love Bench, a bench that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, located in the Julian Alps. It’s a favourite spot for visitors, especially for lovebirds, as the view is said to be romantic by its visitors.
The Love Bench was built by local volunteers in the early 2000s, and has been an iconic landmark in the region ever since. The bench is accessible by hiking up a tail that starts near the town, and takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the pace.
