** Kobarid Museum is dedicated to the events that took place in the western region of Slovenia during World War I. **

Located in the western Slovenian town of Kobarid, the Kobarid Museum shares the stories and history of the events that took place in the city and its surroundings during World War I, its main exhibit covering the battles that took place in the Julian Alps between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Italian army.

The exhibit contains a wide variety of different artifacts, such as personal belongings of soldiers, photographs, maps, and weapons. These exhibits aim to show both sides of history, from both opposing sides, which is an interesting take on displaying how life was like.
