**Ljubljana’s Cyanometer checks the blueness of the sky and the freshness of the air. **
Ljubljana was named the European green capital in 2016 for its great efforts to prevent climate change. During this time, a cyanometer was installed in the capital to check the air quality and blueness of the sky daily, to promote the importance of fresh air and the fight against pollution.
This cool device photographs pictures of the sky, and gathers its information periodically to upload to a website and report back the quality of the air. How cool is that?
Designed by Martin Bricelj Baraga, the sculpture stands out compared to the surrounding Ljubljana architecture, with a modern design.
