Its main tourist attractions are: the medieval fortifications of Suceava, the painted churches and monasteries of northern Moldavia, the medieval salt mine of Cacica, the ski resorts in Vatra Dornei and the towns of Rădăuți, Fălticeni, Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Gura Humorului and Siret.
