Tips and Tricks

  • The castle can get quite crowded, so it’s best to arrive early in the day to avoid long lines. Or we recommend visiting at sunset!
  • The entrance fee is very reasonable, and the views from the castle are absolutely stunning.
  • Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes, as there is quite a bit of walking involved.
  • There are several different areas within the castle to explore, so give yourself plenty of time to see it all.
  • The gardens surrounding the castle are also worth exploring. Your ticket will include entrance to the gardens.
  • There are many peacocks on the grounds, be sure to keep your distance and don't disturb the animals.
