A place of sea air where the tide itself returns twice a day.   With two decades of tradition, the most southern restaurant in Portugal, has the name of a popular Alentejan word. "À-do-João" is located on the Island of the Lighthouse, Cabo de Stª Maria, where the Ria Formosa meets the Atlantic Ocean. On the edge of Praia do Farol, with breathtaking views of the sea or the Ria Formosa, the "À-do-João" space is a must-see gastronomic reference in the Algarve. The fish and shellfish served are wild and prepared in a way that enhances their freshness and true flavors.
