Pile District Museum collects archeology, ethnography, history and art objects, mainly from northern Wielkopolska and the Pilsen subregion. Museum collections are available as permanent exhibitions as well as temporary exhibitions.

The permanent exhibition is divided into three parts: archeology, history and art.

The archaeological exhibits objects from the Stone Age, Bronze, Iron Age and early Middle Ages giving a view of the material culture of the inhabitants of the Land of the Nadnets. Examples of archaeological objects are ceramics, antlers, stone and iron tools, jewelery, face ashtrays, brown treasure chests and much more.

The historical exposition includes especially memorabilia related to the Pilsen region from the 16th century to the history of World War II. Among them are: Polish nobleman's uniform, mail, treasure chests and souvenirs, monuments from the non-existent, oldest pilgrimage church of Sts. Janów, postcards of old saws, judaica, WWII uniforms and much more.

The permanent exposition of the art department is primarily an interior design from the classicist style, through rococo, empir, biedermeier, period of historicism, secession and ending with art deco furniture. A lot of art exhibits are ceramics, and in particular this is from the famous Faience Factory Stanisław Mańczak from nearby Chodzież.
