The Gas Museum is located in Paczkow - a town located in the south-western part of the Opole Voivodship, at the foot of the Złoty Mountains
The museum was built on the premises of the former gas plant in November 1991 and is the only facility in Poland where the whole of gas production facilities have been preserved.
The museum shows the past. It tones the story of the experiments and experiments of a man who has always tried to dominate nature. Still and again, new, old and new ideas, brilliant, crazy, bad and good. This story has no end. It can not be closed in one Museum.
The museum is also today. Here and now. We struggle with the element, each exhibit brings reflection - we develop, we improve every day.
Among the exhibits is a full range of gas appliances used in households: gas stoves, bathroom furnaces, thermos, irons, gas refrigerators, fireplaces, stoves, hair curlers, lamps and gas sconces and a large collection of gas meters, including gas meters for counters.
Strolling through the Museum we do not duck only in history. Here we find familiar and obvious activities, everyday. The same from time immemorial, only made otherwise.
There are only our emotions accompanying the visit. Our interesting, informative and endless journey today.
