Stormen Konserthus

In the center of Bodø, on the "best plot of the city", two white houses are close in close proximity. The storm, with library and concert hall, opened on November 15, 2014 and the buildings have already won several architectural prizes.

In Stormen Concert Hall you will find a grand hall with space for about 900 sitting audiences. The house also has a stage tower that provides great opportunities for theater scenes and exciting scenography. The concert hall has already gained reputation as one of the world's best halls to perform acoustic music and our Steinway grand piano is handpicked by Leif Ove Andsnes. In addition, there is a small room with seating for 250, a chamber room with seating for 80 and foyer, suitable for both receptions, concerts and other events.

In the basement you will find Sinus, Bodø's legendary rock scene, with space for 460 in the audience divided into two levels. The daily activity in the house involves everything from major rock concerts, classical masterpieces, theater arrangements and dance - in addition to large and small courses and conferences.
