Norway is known for the complex and deep fjords along its west coast, as well as the midnight sun and Northern Lights. Mainland Norway stretches from the North Sea near Denmark and Scotland to borders with northern Finland and the northwestern tip of Russia, and has a long border with Sweden to the east. Norway also includes the Svalbard islands. Tyrifjorden and Krøderen are the biggest lakes. Numedalslågen, the third longest river in Norway, starting in Hordaland, runs through Buskerud unto Vestfold where it reaches the sea, while river Begna sweeps into lake Sperillen. Hydnefossen in Hemsedal is the highest waterfall in Buskerud with a total drop of 475 m and a vertical drop of 155. This waterfall  is located in the river Hynda. Hardangervidda National park lays in the municipality of Buskerud, Telemark and Hordaland, and it’s North-Europe’s biggest mountain plateau. Most of it is flat widths, with the Hardangervidda being more hilly. On the plateau you can go hiking, fishing or hunting. You can get on the Hardangervidda all year round.

Kongsberg Golf Course (PAR 72) is only five minutes from Kongsberg center, in idyllic Skollenborg. The beautiful forest and park course can tempt with 18 exciting and very varied holes that will challenge players of all levels. The course is located 65m to 100m above sea level with views of Lågen and Skrim and has several strategic water hazards, over 70 sandbunks and large, partly undeclared greens. In the pro shop it is possible to rent golf equipment, trolleys and golf cars. For those who want to perfect their swing, we offer excellent fitness facilities.
