Tiny Hidden Houses

Remember to take notice of the little things in life. If you’re in the Jordaan neighborhood, you are reminded by this hidden gem of seven tiny houses!

• At first glance, you might not notice that Westerstraat jumps from house 54 to 70. It’s not that they forgot any numbers, but there actually used to be a courtyard accessible to reach the remaining house numbers.
• After the courtyard closed and the houses were combined, a local advertising company thought it would be funny to answer the “missing numbers” problem by placing 7 miniature houses with the same architectural design in between 54 and 70. Now it’s loved equally by locals and tourists, and people often walk by just to witness the fun-sized homes.
• Can be paired with the Noordmakrt, just a short walk away!
