- Close to the Drents Museum, the garden is a quiet hidden spot away from most tourist spaces in Assen. Come here to enjoy the peace of the shrub garden, walk the oak forest, and relax beside the trees. 
- Want to walk through nature? You can follow the paths and explore the gardens at your own pace. But you can also buy a walking guide map from Drentse Landschap at Kloosterstraat 5 in Assen for 1€. The gardens aren’t dog friendly.
