At night this normal tunnel turns into a magical place.

Between **Ganzenmarkt **and Oudegracht, is a tunnel that dates back to the Middle Ages.

The tunnel was used to carry goods through, as Utrecht used to be a trading city. Artist Erik Groen wanted to combine his art with the history of this tunnel.

With lights, he has created the effect of someone walking through the tunnel with a burning torch. While walking through this tunnel, the lights will turn on and change to the colours of your clothes, changes intensity and will show beautiful projections on the walls. Now you can walk through this tunnel any day of the week, year-round for a glowing experience!
