• Take a break from your cycling trip in Nijmegen at the only bicycle museum in the Netherlands: Nationaal Fietsmuseum Velorama. On the second floor of Café Velocitas, the museum is a great stop for any bike enthusiast. Easily missed, but we recommend it as a hidden gem in Nijmegen! The museum itself has three floors with tons of bikes to see.
• At the museum above Café Velocitas, you’ll find a collection of special bikes dating back as far as the 1800s. From royal bikes to the bike that sped Dutch cyclist Wim van Est to victory in the Tour de France. The museum isn’t very interactive, you’re really just here to enjoy all the bikes on display.
• The café and museum is located on the banks of the Waal River. Take a break and take a sip of coffee in the café before continuing on your cycling trip.
