Open twice a week, Assen’s farmer market has local and organic fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, snacks, bread, and more.

• Held every Wednesday and Saturday in the centre of Assen, the farmer’s market has all the fresh goodies you need to cook up dinner. The Saturday market has a couple more varied stalls, including clothes, flower stalls, and pet supplies. But the food is definitely the highlight of both farmer’s markets!
• The Assen Farmer’s Market has 45 stalls. Find those bargains! We love the organic fresh fruit and veggies, but you’ll find plenty more snacks and food trucks to have a taste of the Netherlands right away.
• Fun fact! A few years ago, this market won an award for being the friendliest market in Holland. Don’t be shy and chat to the stall holders to get all the local top tips.
