Le Grand Musée de Marrakech

The Grand Museum of Marrakech is born in the city Ocher.

In the perspective of offering the best illustration of our cultural identity and the wealth of our heritage, in a world where Art is gaining more and more value in society, soon Marrakech will be proud to welcome in its case an inestimable jewel: The Grand Musée De Marrakech.

Dedicated to Oriental Art, witness of an inheritance of duality between the earthly and the sacred, the profane and the spiritual, and opening on the different artistic expressions, this museum promises to be one of the most symbolic eminent of the ocher city, as well as a real and unavoidable public place by its contribution to the city culturally and socially. The Museum, which will open its doors soon, aims to offer a new impetus to national museology and this, thanks to the will of its founders.

The Grand Museum of Marrakech opens its doors as a preview in "Hope through Art", an exhibition of Moroccan painters from April 20 to May 22, 2012.
