Bab Agnaou

Bab Agnaou is one of of the gates of the city of Marrakesh. Although it's not the main gate to the city, it was the entry to the royal kasbah in the southern part of the medina, or walled city of Marrakesh. The kasbah is where the kasbah mosque is located, along with the El Badi Palace and the Saadian Tombs. The gate is designed in the form of a horseshoe arch, with the perimeter being decorated with vegetal design and calligraphy.
