Rabat

The capital of Malta is Valletta, it is the smallest national capital in the European Union by area. Malta has two official languages which are Maltese and English. Sample the local delicacies. In summer, the island is perfect for water sports and beach activities. The island has been described as an open-air museum by some; one is unlikely to run out of things to see during a visit to Malta. Each township has its own unique sights to offer if one pays close enough attention. Most Maltese citizens have not even visited all the wonders and attractions that this island offers. Hiking in the countryside offers a taste of rural Malta, especially the trekking path along the coast of Gozo. Because of the warm climate, even in the winter months, tennis is a sport that can be played all year around in Malta. Sailing is a wonderful option, as Malta boasts an impressive array of caves, scenic sunsets, and other views. The island is surrounded by a limitless number of beaches.

The Kasbah of the Udayas was a fortress built during the 12th century in Rabat. The Plateforme du Sémaphore, the highest point of the kasbah, offers a nice view of the river and the ocean. Inside the fortress, the whitewashed walls with bright blue accents may make you think you've appeared in Santorini.
