Театр "Жас Сахна"

Baiten Valikhanovich always dreamed of his theater, and "Zhas Sakhna" - the embodiment of his dreams. The first performance of the creative team was the play “Actress Nemese Mahabbat Waltzi” (D.Isabekov). After some time, the premieres of the performances of “Zhamilya” (Ch. Aytmatova) and “Muse” (R. Mukanov) were held. In 2013, the theater is experiencing a turning point in development. Its main concept is the diversity of genres and trends characteristic of the Cultural Center, an open stage platform. The artistic director is the famous Kazakhstani actor of theater and cinema, director Yevgeny Zhumanov. The “new” opening of the theater took place on April 27, 2013. On this day, the ceremony of completion of the Student Theater Festival was held on the stage of “Zhas Sahna”. At the closing of the Festival, young actors showed one of their works, which was staged by Baiten Valihanovich Omarov. The theater season “Zhas Sakhna” opened the performances of “Beu Kyzdarai”, the one-man show of Evgeny Zhumanov “Fall” by Albert Camus, the performances of the German Theater, the jazz evenings of Zhanna Sattarova, Art-Vocal, by Irene Aravina. The idea of creating a stage platform that fulfills the mission of the Cultural Center, the Center for Contemporary Kazakh and World Art has been worrying for many years the minds of many representatives of the creative intelligentsia, and finally, such a stage has emerged.
