Milan

Once the core of the mighty Roman Empire, and the cradle of the Renaissance, it is also home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, including high art and monuments. Italy is famous for its delicious cuisine, it's trendy fashions, luxury sports cars and motorcycles, diverse regional cultures and dialects, as well as for its various sceneries from the seas to the Alps and Apennines, all reasons why it got nickcoded Il Bel Paese (the Beautiful Country). One of the great things about Italy is that its long thin shape means that when you get fed up with sightseeing you are often a relatively short distance from a beach. In many of the more popular areas, large sections of beach are reserved as paid beaches. Italy is full of differents cultures you can see: Etruscan Italy, The Greek influence, Roman ruins, Christian Italy, The Byzantine cities and The Renaissance.

Travellers often pass through on their way to southern Italy. Many tourists also stop to visit its winter sport resorts in the north, discover the charms of its Lakes district, visit the city of Milan (with its Duomo, the La Scala theatre and the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie that houses Leonardo Da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'), or simply relax in the region's central hills dominated by its vineyards.

Teatro Glue tells wonderful stories for children of all ages.

Our company is quite famous and is headed by a branch of the Colla family which is one of the most important of the Italian puppetry tradition.

The family Colla does puppet shows in Italy since 1835 while the Teatro Glue does shows in Milan since 1946.

Its theatrical seasons are guests in two theaters in Milan:
 
Teatro La Crete via dell'allodola 5 (Deceptions in the area) and the Teatro Silvestrianum Via Andrea Maffei 19 (Porta Romana).

Teatro Colla has received expressions of esteem, official recognition, the highest decorations; but to us that we work every day particularly interested in what they tell us children, their criticisms and their compliments, their greetings and their hugs.
