The Annunciation Factory, founded in 1320 by the citizens gaetana, includes a hospital complex, an orphanage and the church. The May 2, 1321 the Bishop of Gaeta Francesco Bruno authorized its implementation. As evidence of the foundation remain two plates, one on the lintel of the side door and the church's façade.
