Riserva Regionale Naturale Lago di Cornino

The reserve is managed by the municipalities of Forgaria in Friuli and Trasaghis. In its vicinity you can visit the Lake of Cornino, small body of water karst, from which the reserve is named. The natural area is bordered by the majestic Tagliamento River, the last free river in Europe, it is subject to several studies on flora and fauna. At the visitor center and nearby you can observe and photograph different species of animals such as the eagle owl, the bearded vulture, the Ural owl, the buzzard and the rare vulture monaco during the summer.
