The parish church, made of stone and concrete, was built in 1967/68 by Arch project. Luigi Canalini of Naples and built by the Luzzo Giuseppe Nicastro. It is shaped like a large tent, as an appeal to the biblical tent of the Hebrew patriarchs, and as a constant reminder to the people of every age of his nomadic condition on this earth. Blessed on 28.09.1968, when it was still the rustic, Msgr. Domenico Picchinenna, Archbishop of Cosenza and Director of Nicastro, was officially inaugurated after the completion and finishing work, the 03/18/1971 by Mons. Ferdinando Palatucci , Bishop of Nicastro. By the current pastor, the Church has been fitted with stained glass windows depicting the 20 mysteries of the Rosary and a confessional with air conditioning. E 'was also built, adjacent spaces, a significant Pastoral Center. The parish includes the Lamezia Terme area bounded by Via Tagliamento, Via Adda, Piazza Porcelli gold medals, Via Cap. Manfredi, Torrente Square, railway junction and Via Leonardo da Vinci-Corso G. Nicotera. The faithful are about 3,000. There is a large number of professionals and traders. There are also many workers, several elderly people, sometimes alone, and a large number of low incomes families, some of whom live in hardship and poverty because of unemployment. Being a relatively new area, it is not much perceived membership in the district, so the parish works to develop the sense of community of faith. In the territory of the parish there are many secondary schools, a middle school, some primary schools and kindergartens. There are also some private gyms. The parish registers start since 1955, when it was established the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary in St. Domenico, which in 1968 was moved to the church with the same title. The Pastoral Center is made up of 12 rooms for catechetical activities, and training activities of the various groups, a Conference Hall for cultural activities, barrier-free and equipped with a lift, various services and amenities. A part of the Centre and the old Parish Hall are home Oratory, theatrical activities and various activities. In the Pastoral Center is located the Library Biblos. In the parish church there are: a group of statues of the Madonna del Rosario, 14 sculptures representing the Stations of the Cross, two fonts and recent 20 stained glass windows depicting the mysteries of the Holy Rosary, interspersed with 16 windows geometriche.La Parish Church, in stone and concrete, it was built in 1967/68 by Arch project.
