Parco Regionale dei Monti Lattari

It is the guarantor of a concerted and participatory governance aimed on the one hand, to detect instances of local people, the real protagonists of spatial planning processes and social development, economic and cultural; on the other hand to promote the comparison and collaboration with Institutional Bodies of the territory, as well as to promote forms of association and consortium among local actors, able to pursue a more effective work of protection, management and enhancement of natural heritage, anthropology and cultural excellence. In an integrated and systemic perspective, the Park Authority is promoting the construction of a regional or provincial ecological network, able to protect and enhance the whole landscape, seen as invaluable cultural property; and to improve the quality of life of local communities. The defense and promotion of animal and plant native biodiversity become, therefore, the priority objectives of the Entity, to which joins the activation of policies to pursue sustainable development territorially and economically competitive of the resident populations.
