Parco Faunistico Valcorba

Our zoo is born "from the ashes" of the old Monte Lonzina Zoo with the intent to create a new large, spacious and above all comfortable for the animals.

In 1990, the Animal Park Valcorba in Veneto begins the work with the laying of the first stone followed by the planting of trees, hedges ... After years of hard work, finally in 2000 the gates were opened!

The old zoo concept, understood as displays of animals, from us has been abolished and is not part of our way of thinking and being.

  For us, the Park is a tool to teach respect for nature in all its forms ...

For ten years, we continue to enhance habitats for specimens that we host and create new ones with the elements that have always distinguished: natural stone, wood and a lot of passion ... !! Today the park covers an area of ​​200,000 square meters all shady from 22,000 piante.La our hope is that the visitor coming out of the Park has realized that the animal world is spectacular and has much to teach us, but is also aware that the future of these wonders depends exclusively on the "good education" of our small everyday gestures that often conflict with the delicate balance of nature ...
