Parco Etnografico di Rubano

The park is a green lung with large meadows and woods, a Venetian mansions combined ethnographic museum, a petting zoo, a bread oven, a restaurant, a more than 10-hectare pond, an area for community gardens, the 'habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal species.   E 'was born around an old quarry for the extraction of sand and is just a few kilometers from Padua center in an area that has been re-naturalized with reforestation measures and the creation of a marshy wetland.   The park encompasses the ability to transmit the values ​​associated with the environment and with the culture of sustainable development, but also with the tradition, the local roots, the attention to the person. A place where families and young people can spend Sunday in close contact with nature!

Since July 2010, the Rubano Ethnographic Park is managed by the Park 4, a joint venture formed by the social cooperatives Coislha and La Bottega dei Ragazzi, and Patavium Nurseries sas.
