Castelluccio Superiore

Once the core of the mighty Roman Empire, and the cradle of the Renaissance, it is also home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, including high art and monuments. A visit to the prehistoric cave dwellings of Matera (a timeless place rightfully appearing in the film 'The Passion of the Christ') in itself makes the region worth a visit. Although largely landlocked, Basilicata has two stunningly beautiful accesses to the Mediterranean (in the south and the east). This is a very quiet part of Italy, but like the rest of the country it is heir to much ancient history and cultivates gastronomy and good living.

In the Pollino National Park, the largest park in South Italy, the adventure begins the first adventure park of Pollino Park. The park is located 5 km from the City of San Severino Lucano, in Bosco Magnano.
